This quiver is made of carved poplar wood covered in badger skin and thin red leather. The hair comes to a pair of points, which is a natural feature of the badger; you see the same effect in the page devoted to the suffrage of Saint Sebastian in the Hours of Catherine of Cleves. The hook is typical in having only one "finger", which is laid alongside the tiller of the bow; with a little practice the string can be drawn symmetrically. I also made the buckle and the other belt fittings shown.
