Rapsheet time logger helps you keep track of how much time you have spent doing various tasks. It is useful for customer billing, determining the percentage of business use of your computer, or just for general information.

Rapsheet is designed to be easy to use. You simply tell Rapsheet the names of all the things you normally do and then run Rapsheet whenever you start doing something. Every time you run Rapsheet it will ask you what you are doing now. You select the task that you are going to start doing and Rapsheet will remember it. When you finish with that task and start a different task, you run Rapsheet again and tell it. When you are done for the day, you tell Rapsheet that as well. At any time you can see a list of everything you have done, and how much time you spent on each task. You can also group your tasks by type number, and the report will tell you how much time was spent on each type and the percentage of total time.

This release of Rapsheet for Windows adds on-line, email, and fax registration worldwide through Kagi.  Also, there is no longer any time limitation for how long you can use Rapsheet before certain features stop working - though some features will not work at all until you register (such as printing and saving of reports).  It incorporates all of the features of Rapsheet version 1.42 for the Atari ST and DOS, and it is fully file compatable with these other two versions. You can even have all three versions on the same computer (assuming you have a DOS emulator for your Atari or an Atari emulator for your PC) and they will all access the same task list. Rapsheet is shareware. The registration fee is $20. You can download a copy here and try it out. Some features do not work until you register. Registered users of older versions should let me know via email that they are still using Rapsheet.

Online Registration Information:

Rapsheet version 1.43 can now be registered through the on-line service Kagi.  Included in the download package with Rapsheet version 1.43 is a program called Register.  By running this program, you can select many different registration methods, including credit cards and non-US currancy.  The Register program will let you register using mail, email, or fax.  Registration will be through Kagi, an on-line service that provides registration for many shareware programs.  (If you are sending a U.S. Check or Money Order, you can still register directly with Stochastic Systems.)  When you register, be sure to provide your name (20 characters or less, only US Ascii characters, no business names or "handles" please) and email address.  Once your registration payment clears, you will be sent a registration key that matches your user name.  By entering your user name and key into the Rapsheet program it will turn off the startup screen and list your name on the main screen.  It will also turn on all printing and saving features.
