The spelling of Terrund Ricklef should be: Terry Ricklefs.

H. Bitzer moved to approve the minutes of October 4. P. Davis seconded. the motion was passed unanimously.

4. Committee Reports

The Spiritual Committee met with a group of pastors. G. Katz made a presentation on Y2K. His impression was that it scared them. He has a list of folks who want to work on presentations. They will need to start after the Expo.

R. Zaman went to a Y2K preparedness meeting at Moravia. It seemed to be a Menonite group. At their November 10 meeting a man will be discussing energy and how to get off of the electric grid. These meetings take place at New Hope Bible Center in Moravia. To get there, take route 38 to Moravia. When route 38 turns to the left and another block turns to the right, go straight one block when route 38 turns to the left. Meetings take place at 7:30 pm.

5. School Assembly.

S. Calkins said that the drama folks at the Alternative Community School are looking at December as a time to begin to create a production. Also the Eco-Action group at the school may do a project based upon Y2K.

6. Web page:

http://www.lightlink.com/y2k/

M. Labbe has made this page available to people all over the country through the Homestead Y2K electronic mailing list. He made a request that people please send him feedback about the site and information to be posted on the site.
He can be contacted at 273-4847, deaham@lightlink.com.

7. Networking

G. Katz has received several e-mails inquiring as to what we are doing. Fox News NY may cover the Expo.
He is also getting to know about several other Y2K groups that are similar in nature to ours.
There will be an article about this subject in the Syracuse New Times in January. Information for this article should go to G. Katz.

Donations $36.00
TOTAL: $79.52
