Are donations to RAINN tax deductible?
Yes. RAINN is a non-profit organization (also known as a 501(c)(3)). RAINN sends thank you letters to all donors. This letter will also serve as your receipt for tax purposes. RAINN’s taxpayer ID number is 52-1886511.
Where will my Donation go?

RAINN relies on small donations from thousands of donors to keep the hotline running. RAINN receives no government funding. Of every dollar raised, 87 cents goes directly to help victims, making RAINN one of the most efficient charities in America.

Where Do I Send my Check?
To donate by check, mail a check payable directly to RAINN, referencing Party ID #198 to:

Can I Donate with a Credit Card?
RAINN can accept donations made with your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and Diner’s Club. You can either call the RAINN office or you can make your donation on-line.
By Telephone
Call the RAINN office at 1.800.656.4673, extension 2 (two), and provide your name, address, credit card information, and Party ID #198 to RAINN’s staff. Please be sure to press 2 (two) on the main menu when calling RAINN so you are routed to the business office instead of a counselor.

Log onto and make a donation. Donations in increments of $25 are accepted online. Please note Party ID #198 in the comments field when you check out with the payments desk.
