Control and the Mechanics of SCS

This is Hand Space Mimicry. It is done by using the hands. The processor has the person mimic his hand motions.

The purpose of this process is to develop reality on the processor using the reality scale (solid communication line). To get a person into communication by control and duplication. To find the processor. To be free in two-way communication. The processor should be gentle and accurate in his motions, all motions being Tone 40, and giving the person wins.

The process is introduced and run as a formal process. If the person dopes off in this process, the processor may take the person's wrist and help him execute the command one hand at a time. If the person does not answer during anaten to the question, "Did you contribute to their motion?", the processor may wait for the normal communication lag of that person, acknowledge and continue the process.

Tone 40: Tone 40 is giving a command and just knowing that it will be executed despite any contrary appearances. It means intention without reservation.

The processor raises two hands, palms facing the person's, about an equal distance between the processor and the person and says, "Put your hands against mine. Follow them, and contribute to their motion." The then makes a simple motion with his right hand, then with the left hand. "Did you contribute to their motion?" Acknowledge the answer. The processor allows the person to break the solid communication line.

When this is flat, the processor does the same with a half-inch of space between his and the person's palms. The command being "Put your hands facing mine about a half-inch away. Follow them, and contribute to their motion." "Did you contribute to their motion?" Acknowledge. "When this is flat, the processor does it with wider space and so on until the person is able to follow motions a yard away.

The processor and client are seated close together facing each other, the person's knees between processor's knees.

End Point

Run CCH 3 to a flat point and then go on to CCH 4.

If no change in aspect for three commands, with the person actually doing the commands, go on to the next CCH.

These objective assist processes are excerpted and compiled from the works of L. Ron Hubbard as part of a study of the Briefing Course materials. They are made available here for the purpose of discussion on spirit-l. Spirit-l is a list intended for the discussion of the philosophical underpinnings of clearing philosophies and methods. Frequent topics include self-betterment processes that can be done alone or in a coprocessing setting. There are "fair use" considerations as the works these quotations are taken from are copyrighted. The actual owner of the copyrights seems to be in question, but it most certainly is not I. Therefore, these fair use excerpts are available for Spirit-l list subscribers to prepare for, and participate in, the on-line discussion. It is also for others who, although unable to participate in the discussion of Hubbard's work at this time (perhaps lacking email access or available time), would like to prepare for such discussion on the above thread topics in the future. Just as one can copy a chapter out of a book to teach a class, and even a whole book using a chapter for each class, separate supplementary manuals will facilitate the different on-line discussion topics.
