Tape: 4511C05 "Factors Present in Good and Bad Auditing"

A guy sitting there like a lump of lead doesn't qualify as being alive due to his motionlessness. Just because life doesn't have position and isn't necessarily moving doesn't mean that a fellow sitting there like a lump of lead is alive. In order to get him alive, you have to get him into motion. And having gotten him at least into animated determined motion, you've made him more alive.

We just take this basis and we get a person into motion. We're sitting there in the processing room and we just have the person walk around the room. He isn't touching anything, he isn't looking at anything, no other processing commands. He's just moving around the room. Twice as good if the processor walks around the room with him. It's duplication. There are two terminals. The fellow will come off being a communication particle onto being at least one end of the communication line. Because he sees that there's another end to that line.

Elementary material here from cause-distance-effect. He just sees he must be either at cause or effect if there's another end of the lien there. Supposing the auditor felt friendly toward him as they walked around the room. Let's get some affinity into this. It could be very therapeutic. Supposing as they walked around the room that the processor, by some direction or another, occasionally felt a wall. The processor did this. He didn't tell the person to do it. The person after a while walking around the room doing this duplication would occasionally feel the wall. The first thing you know, he'd recognize some reality and we would have added some reality into the process.

So we put in affinity-reality-communication. First, communication. He must be making a body walk around because a body is walking around.

Therefore, some communication is occurring here. Cause-distance-effect must be taking place. If the processor walked around with him, then he was either cause or effect and the processor was either cause or effect so there was a visible communication line.

And the next one, the processor didn't feel mad at him while they were walking around the room. She wasn't growling at him, in fact she was smiling at him. We've added some affinity.

Now, we touch the walls a few times. Naturally, we've added some reality in on the situation. The first thing you know, the person understands something about his case.

There are no set commands to this process. A. The processor has the person walk around the room. The process would walk around the room with the person. The process introduces affinity into the process by feeling friendly to the person, or smiling, etc.

B. The processor and person are walking around the room and the processor introduces reality into the process by touching a wall once in awhile while they are walking around the room. The processor will find that after awhile, the person will duplicate this and touch a wall also.

End Point

Run the process until the person is walking around the room easily and comfortable with increased affinity-reality-communication.

These objective assist processes are excerpted and compiled from the works of L. Ron Hubbard as part of a study of the Briefing Course materials. They are made available here for the purpose of discussion on spirit-l. Spirit-l is a list intended for the discussion of the philosophical underpinnings of clearing philosophies and methods. Frequent topics include self-betterment processes that can be done alone or in a coprocessing setting. There are "fair use" considerations as the works these quotations are taken from are copyrighted. The actual owner of the copyrights seems to be in question, but it most certainly is not I. Therefore, these fair use excerpts are available for Spirit-l list subscribers to prepare for, and participate in, the on-line discussion. It is also for others who, although unable to participate in the discussion of Hubbard's work at this time (perhaps lacking email access or available time), would like to prepare for such discussion on the above thread topics in the future. Just as one can copy a chapter out of a book to teach a class, and even a whole book using a chapter for each class, separate supplementary manuals will facilitate the different on-line discussion topics.
