Craig
|
Craig Fellin has been my friend it seems like forever.
I met him the summer I was 17 and a lot of what I judge as good qualities in men come from him.
He gave me an Irish Setter who was my best friend all the time I was in college and after.
Craig lives what he loves: He has a flyfishing /
skiing
lodge in Montana, miles and miles away from civilization.
He has a beautiful son, Wade, and a horse named Sonny.
He has traveled all over the world, fishing and camping and stuff. (Personally,
I hate camping but fishing is good.) Attention on: how a man should live, natural beauty,
the legacy. My favorite times: walking in the forest, playing with the setter, first kiss.

Enid
|
Enid Vien and David live near San Diego. Enid loves
philosophy and writes poetry. See her website. If you like her online articles, check out the Dynamism bookstore. Like me, Enid has a
cat with too many toes. Attention on: clearing, helping. My favorite times: the library at Alexandria.

Greg
|
Greg Singleton claims to have been teaching history
since there wasn't any. Kierkegaard said there's maybe one
true Christian in an age. I think he was estimating on the high side. Greg is as close to a
true Christian as I have ever known (or sometimes, liked). His Theologians Against Religion
page is my favorite part of his site. I webbed his comments on
the hysterical search for
the historical Jesus. Attention on: relevence of the Church, historical fun stuff.
My favorite times: theology of Franz
Bibfeldt.

Homer and Jane
|
Homer Wilson Smith and Jane Staller run lightlink,
my ISP of choice. I'm not sure if Homer considers himself a friend of mine.
I like him a lot. I gave him his own virtual cat. Homer does not usually web
things, but some of his writings are roboposted to alt.clearing.technology. Attention on:
digging out, sovereignty. My favorite times: telling the truth.

Joachim
|
Maxmillian Joachim Sandor is one of the
most interesting people I know. I am interested in everything and Max knows about many of them.
We went to the Avocado Festival a few years ago and he promises to fly into Santa Barbara for lunch
one day. Read his Little
Purple Notebook on how to escape from this Universe. Attention on: a new renaissance.
My favorite times: eating avocado ice cream, playing on the beach with Miss Honey, the flying collie.

Jonathan
|
Jonathan Young. As Ursula said, "Wow, I thought Jonathan
was just some friend of my mom's but other people know about him." His website was the first one I did
and it really shows my evolution (and it won the LA Times cool site of the day.
Visit the Center for Story & Symbol
and especially, the Mythic Realm. You
can even send a mythic postcard.
Attention on: the soul of the planet, new jokes. My favorite times: setting him up with girlfriends,
lunch at the beach, feeding the unconscious, exposing Hillman, the Wizard of OZ.

Kenneth
|
Ken Urquhart was born a grumpy old man. I'm not sure why
we're friends, but we are. I think we're both waiting to find out why. However, he is always there for
me for good or bad, and I would do anything for him. He has taught me a lot about integrity.
He has a lot to give.
Constructive criticism about his friends' photography is not one of them, however.
Attention on: integrity, his music, what he has to say. Happily, he models good behavior. My favorite times: laughing, feeling the feeling,
introducing him to his computer.
|
|
LaMont
|
LaMont Johnson was a worldclass jazz pianist and a great
friend to me. I sure do miss him. You can say goodbye to him here.
Attention on: what is, the music of the spheres. My favorite times: listening to Kenny Burrell and
Chet Baker while we talk, having fun, shooting from the hip, planning the future.

Razzle
|
Razzle has an extra thumb on each of her front paws.
It kinda looks like she is wearing snow shoes. I've had Razzle since she was about 3 weeks old and all she
could eat was baby cereal. No, she isn't the only cat to have her own web page. Attention on: birds, breakfast.
My favorite times: napping, breakfast, bug hunting.

account for Lisa's death.
