  • The Village of Watkins Glen’s curbside recycle pick-up is not changing. Recycle pick-ups continue to be biweekly on Tuesdays. Your recyclables can still be put into one container (sorting is not necessary) and must be curbside no later than 7 am. View the schedule here

  • Madison Avenue between Sixth and Eighth Streets is now a ONE WAY street. Travel will only be permitted in a southerly direction from Sixth Street to Eighth Street. Signs have been posted and the Village Police Department will begin enforcing the one-way travel beginning on Monday, 3/4/08.

  • The Village of Watkins Glen has established a new policy regarding the rental of office space in the Municipal Building. Read the new policy and obtain an application here.

  • Fees for Vital Records are $30.00 per certified copy, and may take up to two weeks to process. Priority handling (process time is one day) is available for an extra $15.00 per copy. Fees for genealogy records vary. A search of 1-3 years is $22.00; 4-10 years is $42.00; 11-20 years is $62.00; 21-30 years is $82.00; 31-40 years is $102.00.
