  • VILLAGE OF WATKINS GLEN BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING - Monday, July 20, 2009 8:00 p.m.

  • REMINDER: The Village of Watkins Glen picks up leaf bags set at the curb on Mondays of each week. Bags are for the disposal of leaves, grass clippings etc. Please DO NOT place rocks, stones, bricks etc. in the bags. Any bag weighing more than 30 pounds will not be picked up by the Village crews.

  • VILLAGE OF WATKINS GLEN RECYCLING REMINDERS:
    • Place recycables curbside no later than 7 am
    • Keep recycables covered – wet materials are not acceptable
    • Acceptable Materials:
      1. Metal, tin and aluminum cans, foils and pie plates (No paint cans or scrap metal)
      2. Glass bottles & jars (discard lids)
      3. Plastic bottles (discard lids) no motor oil bottles
        Remember to rinse all of the above before placing in recycle bin
      4. White & colored paper
      5. Newspapers, magazines, catalogs & phone books
      6. Opened mail and envelopes
      7. Paper bags
      8. Corrugated cardboard & boxboard
      9. Shredded paper
