Reference Form for Tropical Ecology and Reforestation Program in Costa Rica


You are being asked to provide a reference for __________________ for  
Tropical Forestry Initiative's month long program in Costa Rica. You

1. If you have knowledge, please comment on the student's academic  
abilities.


2. The program runs for 4 weeks in a hilly rural site in the humid  
tropics during the rainy season. Spiders, snakes, scorpions, ants, bats,  
etc are also present. Field work requires some tolerance of heat,  
humidity, mud and insects. (Keep in mind, however, that the local  
people deal with these quite well!). 

How do you think this student will fare under these conditions?
