Because of the immense popularity of the Trisomy List and the need for day to day support the Trisomy List has been divided into two. Their is Trisomy Medical which is specifically for on-topic Trisomy related mails. Trisomy Family is a more general supportive list, for off topic posts, general love, support and chit chat.
Except in exceptional circumstances (eg. For those folk who pay for their mail by byte etc) we strongly advise people to subscribe to both lists as often messages overlap.
Messages from both lists are available in a number of ways.
"regular" mail
Which means that you receive each single mail as they are sent by members throughout the day.
"digest"
Which means that you receive one or two long mails each day containing all the messages sent to the list that day.
Here is an example of a "digest" mail from the Tri-Medical List

If you continue to read through the mail you will see that each message is listed so that you can read the mail. |
"Digest 2"
This means means that you receive the digest version AND the regular mails.
"Vacation"
which means that you do not receive any actual e-mails, for example while you are on holidays. If you do not reactivate your account it will automatically revert back to regular mails after 2 weeks.
