Thomas Hoebbel Photography specializes in photography for musicians and bands as well as for music festivals. Thomas enjoys shooting live performances in order to capture the essence of the performer. Much of his live photography has appeared in CD liner notes as well as advertising campaigns.

Thomas also works with bands to create unique publicity photos for use in press releases, posters, on web sites and in other printed materials. Thomas takes the time to discuss the needs of the performer or band, develop a concept for the images and then execute the photo shoot to create the unique look that the performer is looking for. PR photos can either be taken studio-style or on location in a setting that reflects the personality of the performer.

Thomas has also been photographing music festivals for many years. He has covered the Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance in Trumansburg for the past 10 years. His photos have been used to promote the festival through press releases, posters, postcard campaigns and in the festival program. His coverage of the entire event reflects the atmosphere of the festival as an event enjoyed by a diverse audience in addition to recording the performances of the artists.
