Ms. December: Suzie!
Hi! My name is Suzie and I am a super gentle, sweet, loving 10-month old (probably purebred) Yellow Lab. I was homeless and so lonely for many months, scavenging in trash cans and sleeping under people's porches until a very nice retired couple befriended me. They contacted Cayuga Dog Rescue and got me into a wonderful foster home! Wow! This is so much better than being stray!!!
I am a bit of a "velcro doggy" now, following my people around everywhere and absolutely reveling in their attention and affection. I sit by their side, go from room to room with them, and gaze lovingly up at them every chance I get. I get along very well with the 3 other dogs in my foster home too; the young dog has taught me to chase balls, play tug-of-war, and generally be silly. The older dogs are less playful, so I'm respectful of them. I'm shy with new people and new dogs at first, but bond pretty quickly and very strongly once I get to know you. I weight about 50 pounds and might top out at 60.
I'm spayed, housebroken, happy, and the sweetest girl you could find. I must go to a home that has another dog in it, because I get too scared if I am left alone in the house without another dog for company. I'm also good with cats and can't wait to have a loving forever home!
