I don't know if this story is true, but if it is, what this guy did is a
crime in my book. Unless he was hired to do so, he had no business accessing
anybody's password files no matter what his motives were. He should consider
himself lucky to be out of jail. Being a famous computer maven is no guarantee
of good intentions or honesty.
