I, for one, will no longer purchase an Intel CPU. I will now look for PowerPC-based (or AMD, or other) platforms for my home computing needs. If Intel wants my business back (I have 6 PCs), they should be more reasonable. Termination of employment would seem an acceptable way to deal with this (I think that's extreme for this case, but within the realm of acceptability.)
