Intel, in a remakably stupid case of "biting the hand that feeds them",
sucessfully prosecuted Perl expert and author of two perl books (Programming
Perl and Learning Perl) for "computer hacking" while he was working as a
consultant for them. His crime? Remotely accessing their systems from his
home and running a crak program on some password files to uncover security
flaws.
I hope the $60,000 theyre asking covers the loss of goodwill this has caused
in the programming community. Now where did I put the number for AMD?
