I don't think that they should have "the fear of god". Schwartz was doing
something he should not have been doing. He reasons were right, but his
methodology was wrong.
If I were Intel, I would be pissed. But I doubt I would have pressed for a
conviction. I would have fired him, and told other companies (potential
customers of Schwartz) about his actions while employed. Companies that think
what he did was correct could hire him, while others that disagree with his
methods wouldn't hire him. <shrug>
