: I was never offered a chance to "plea bargain it down from a felony to

: Mr. Adrian's overall statement to be true :-).

In that case, I apologize for any implications that it was your arrogance
or your attorney's misreading of difficulties in prosecuting these cases
that led to the felony charges.

On the other hand, even though I do not like the fact that large
corporations may have the clout to influence the course of a prosecution,
I do believe in the prosecution of criminal actions, and as, in my
OPINION (note disclaimer) based ONLY on the information I have seen
in various places (again, note disclaimer), such an act did transpire,
I stand by the other points of opinion in my original article. However,
I am willing to be persuaded that you were being unfairly persecuted
for actions that were common by consultants hired by the Intel corporation
if you can show me that this type of activity was, in fact, common
occurence at said company. In any case, the DA has the right to prosecute
to the fullest extent he wishes, once a crime has been comitted.

Now that the case is over you should be free to discuss the particulars
of your case publically. How about your side of the story?

I also regret and apologize in advance for ANY injection of factual
information into a USENET post that this thread may be the cause of.
