Re: When might we see a book (the alpaca book ?) for perl 5?

Well, I'm touched that you think that a special book edition should
help me catch up with my legal bills, but if all goes as I hope, I
won't *need* a legal defense fund by the time the Camel-5 comes out.

I'll either be in jail, or home free...

Besides, if there's *any* extra money to be made, it should go
directly to Larry. After all, without Larry, there wouldn't be Perl,
and I couldn't be a Perl Hacker.

(A little history: when we had the autographed camels before, it was
$10 above list price, and it was pretty much a marketing flop. I
think we distributed about 30-50 of them total.)

print "Just another Perl hacker," # but not what the media calls "hacker!" :-)
# legal fund: $1355.03 collected, $24879.50 spent; email @FUND in body for details
