The Plaide Palette is a small, family operated business specializing in the retail sales of Celtic gifts, custom wedding cake toppers and teas.
Located in scenic, central New York State, we have been operating our business here for over twenty years and on the internet since 1996.
The retail shop, mail order and web business is located within the historic Oliver Judd Homestead on Main Street.
Yes, we work where we live and we love it!

The custom cake toppers and tartan paintings are all created and produced on premise by ceramicist and tartan artist Susan Miller and her husband, Everett.
In addition to importing many fine gifts, teas and foods from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales, we also utilize local talent in the fields of knitting, jewelry and soap making.
Come visit the shop where you can browse and enjoy the fresh country air and smallness of this historic village "lost in time".

During the spring and summer months, the Plaide Palette takes its products on the road

We are an active participant in many Scottish Games, Irish Festivals, wine tastings and psychic fairs throughout the region.
