Pent Contestants and "Displayers"

• 9:00 AM Registration opens in Pent Area for Pent Entries and Displays (this includes Performance Competitors, who need to register before 11 AM!)
• 11:00 AM Registration for Pent Entries and Competitions CLOSES
• 11:30 AM Live Performance Competitors gather at Pent Registration Area along with judges
• 11:45 AM Live Performance Judging begins at Open Bardic Stage outside Pent room
• 2:00 PM Fashion Show Entrants gather at Registration Area in Pent room
• 2:30 PM Fashion Show Begins at Open Bardic Stage
• 3:00 PM Most Award Ribbons in Place and Entrants' Names Revealed
• 4:00 PM Meet and Greet the Judges and the Contestants, Pent room
• 4:30 PM REMOVE your Entries and Displays! We must clean the room before Court.
• 5:00 PM???? COURT? Grand Prize Winners of Pent and MAIN Categories announced along with Special Prizes.
• 5:00 PM Winners will receive Scrolls that may need to have a winner's name calligraphed on them right after Court by Rhydderich Hael Scribes. Please plan accordingly - or BYOS (Bring your own scribe) in case you happen to win a MAIN Category. If you cannot stay for Court, please be sure to delegate someone to take a winner scroll home, if that happens for your entry.
• Within 2-3 days after March 28th, the tentative scores for Pent Winners and Main Category winners will be announced to the AEthelmearc Email lists. (NOTE: we do a thorough checking of all score sheets after this event, but this takes far longer than 2-3 days. The final scores will be posted to the Pent website, along with photographs of entries sometimes in April 09.

NOTE: this year the Pent Competition will be open to the pubic continuously from 11:00 AM until 4:30 PM. The public is asked not to touch documentation or interrupt judges while judging is taking place, however. Once Ribbons are in place, the public is welcome to examine the documentation. NOTE: We will be putting ribbons on completed categories throughout the day, as they are ready. Many thanks for your understanding - Rhiannon the Pentocrat.
