Artist's Retrospective (A&S display)

For many years, the Ice Dragon Pent has concentrated on work completed since the previous Ice Dragon Pent. While the Pent competitions have the same limitation this year, we are asking artists to bring their past work for display -setting up a display contrasting their best work with their earliest works. Yes, we are looking for those back-of-the-closet, Perioroid, embarrassing first attempts that everyone makes when they start out to re-create the Middle Ages, along with your very best work, whenever it was completed.

Your work will be displayed in an area outside the actual competition for the education of the public on how an artist/researcher starts out and grows from an 'uncertain' beginning. You decide how much documentation to provide. Please be sure to include your SCA name on these displays. You can setup your display from 9AM until Noon in the Pent room.

This is the recognized website for the A&S Competition and Pentathalon of the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael of the Kingdom of AEthelmearc and is maintained by Mistress Rhiannon y Bwa .
