Ken Zeserson

When not playing music with the Purple Valley, Ken Zeserson is the President and owner of the Ithaca Center for Postgraduate Medical Education, Inc. ) , and Zeserson & Associates, Inc., both of which operate in Ithaca, New York (607-257-5860)

Ken resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where his wife Jan is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Franklin & Marshall College. Since Ken jumps around from Lancaster to Ithaca rather frequently, he can be reached most easily at kenz@zeserson.com, where he is always "in."

Their son, Eli, 24, graduated from UCLA with a degree in English. He is currently pursuing a career in healthcare education and clinical practice. Johanna, 20, is a junior at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she majors in Urban Studies.

When in Lancaster, Ken assuages his musical Jones by playing with The Nightcrawlers, a dance and bar band with a rockabilly feel. They employ basically the same three chords that Purple Valley concentrates on which is fortunate for Ken because at this point, that's all he can remember.

And when in Ithaca, he spends an inordinate amount of time chasing John Saylor and the rest of the High Noon Athletic Club up and down country roads. They usually leave their instruments at home when they do that (though Saylor did once run a Boston Marathon carrying a guitar, but that's another story.....)
