2014 Star Fleet Battles
World League Tournament
Run by Peter Bakija
World League is a team
tournament, where 3 player teams compete against each other. The
first round is a round robin style event where teams score points
for each game played (3 points for a win, 1 point for a loss,
0 points for a no show). After the first round, the top 4 teams
will advance to a single elimination ladder, by team, so there
will be 2 rounds of finals (4 teams then 2 teams).
October 30, 2014: And it's over! Team Peons of Death (Paul
Scott, Majead Farsi, and Seth Shimansky) won the finals 2-0. Congrats
to Team Peons of Death!
August 13, 2014: The initial round is extended till midnight, August
31. Games that are not done by then will be called. Games that have no
progress at all will be scored at 0-0. Games that are started, but not
completed will be scored at a 2-2 tie. Please try and get your games
done by then.
June 11, 2014: The initial pool of games is up. You all have 2
months from today (till August 11th) to get your 3 games done and
May 24, 2014: World League signups are nearly over. We have at
least 30 players (10 teams). Possibly 11 teams. We will start selecting
teams with a draft shortly. The links below are still full of 2013
info, so don't be confused by that.

October 31, 2010: Team
New Jersey has emerged victorious! Congrats to Team New Jersey
(Brook Villa, Marcus Giegerich, Steve McCann)!
August 6, 2009: Going
2-0 in the finals, Team DeathTöngue
beats Team Colorado for the win. Congrats to Team DeathTöngue
(Bill Schoeller, Ken Lin, Roger Rardain)!
