Cool New Orc Units from Legions!

So the new fixed Legions set has come out, and on initial inspection, the set looks great. The rules look very nice and cleaned up, the new map is very cute, and all the new disks look great (and have incredible illustrations, to boot). The new Orc units:

Zhalla Bakhal (2" disk. 7 points. Champion. 7/4/4; 3 wounds; 3 move; First Blow; A to Ambush any pinned enemy disk within 12".): Right. This guy is freaking great. He has 7 points of First Blowing attack, 12 total toughness, and the ability to ambush enemy units, and as you all know, being able to Ambush *anything* is good, and his will pretty much always be useful. If he is in a combined attack (which he often will be, due to his Ambush ability) with a non First Blow unit, he loses his First Blow, but luckily, he comes in a box with 5 Urkan Hordes. Grade: A

Urkan Hordes (1.75" disk. 3 points. 3/2/1; 5 move; First Blow.): Very solid scutt troops. Yeah, they only have 1 toughness, which means every stray arrow in the world is going to kill them, but they are very fast and have First Blow. Run up a mob of them, pin all sorts of stuff, and have Zhalla jump in where necessary. I think these guys just rock. Grade: A

Urotok Warrior (2" disk. 6 points. 2/4/6. 4 move. A to force one or two unpinned, A Urkan Horde Disks to move up to their M.): Urkan Hordes are already good. With these guys, they move twice a turn. Very solid support unit. He is tough, which is good, but once all the Hordes buy it, they aren't real useful, but defenitely worth bringing along with the Hordes. Grade: B+

Lowland Twister (2" disk. 4 points. 5/0/2. 5 move. Rage. First Blow. If pinning a friendly disk at any time, both that disk and Twister are instantly destroyed.): Well, he is certainly interesting, but I can't see him being all that useful in the long run. Rage is very debilitating, and hisother disadvantage could become problematic, but he is a 5 point first blow with a move of 5 (and a really cool picture). For 4 points, though, if you think of him as little more than an extra amusing Fireball, he might have some viablility. Grade: B
