Hiking into the canyon mostly looked like this.

The Havasu village was filled with dogs. They were all very friendly. This here is P-Dog (Patrol Dog?), who adopted us and followed us around most of the time. She ate very well, much like us.

Our campsite was right by a creek that ran out of Havasu falls (picture below) and was quite comfortable. The kids were fond of sleeping outside under the stars. They weren't however, quite fond of waking up in the morning.

This is our eating/kitchen area. Gary, the lead guide from AoA, is in the background here making delicious, delicious coffee. Thanks Gary! In the forground (slightly out of focus--it was that kind of morning) is Cathy, our intrepid leader and the brain behind the whole operation. You rock, Cathy!

This picture probably should have gone first. Anyway, this is our campsite. We had nice big tents, air matresses, the occasional hammock, and a lovely blue stream flowing by.

Our guides made fantasic meals for us, like you wouldn't believe kind of fantastic. Our first dinner consisted of grilled salmon and balsamic glazed asparagus kind of fantastic. This is, from left to right, Ryan, Dave, and Matt. Great guys, these guides.

Havasupai Canyon is filled with really cool waterfalls. This is Navajo Falls, where we spent some time hanging out and swimming. In the middle of the picture is our guide Ryan, leaping off the falls. He was from Canada too.
