This sad sight is what used to be my car. It was a very nice car--a '95 Geo Prizm. The Geo Prizm was a joint venture between Chevy and Toyota to build a Toyota Corolla in a Chevy plant, but use, pretty much, all Toyota parts. Thus, it is a good, solid (in a reliability sense...), inexpensive car. Ours was a good one--nice and purple, and ran great. Sadly, I had the audacity to park my car on the street, where someone decided it was a good idea to take a short cut to wherever they were going by driving their station wagon through my poor car.
A few weeks later, we got a very similar one--a red '96 Geo Prizim. It is a cool standard (as opposed to an automagic), but it isn't purple. I still feel a little sad whenever I drive by a purple one.
