While the info on this page is (mostly) still valid, the page is no longer current or maintained. Specifically:

• The current release of Hercules (3.09) has additional bugfixes not included here (in module comm3705.c)
• There are now available distributions of MVS which have 3705 already included in the sysgen, so there is no need to zap UCB's. The method of zapping UCB's from different device types to the 3705 type is not recommended.
• The S0C4 when using TCAM is fixed but the correction has not been incorporated into any of the downloadable archives. Here's a quick fix:
