custom work

We can retrofit Walker Metalsmith’s silver ferrules and ring caps, as well as antler or ivory projecting mounts on your pipes. The total cost can vary, dependent upon condition, dimensions, and method of construction of your pipes. Prices quoted below are for an average retrofit with no problems encountered. A complete4 estimate can only be done upon inspection of your pipes. The first step is to verify that the sizes will work with your drones. The OD of the stock ferrules is 1-1/4”, which is smaller than the bulk of pipes made these days, but can look fine with your stock’s OD being anywhere from 1-1/4” to 1-5/16”. The same goes for the other pieces - + 1/16 [.062”} and -1/32” [.032”] is an acceptable range for pipes’ OD’s that will look “right” The silver can in most cases be installed over your imitation ivory ferrules too.
