There will be exciting "pilot learning centers;"
simulators, weather, navigation, and pre-flight
East Hill Flying Club in conjunction with EAA Chapter 811 will be holding a
Young Eagles Rally as part of their Open House May 10th, the Saturday before Mother's Day.
EAA member pilots from both organizations will be offering free airplane
rides to kids between the ages of 8 and 17 years old. These pilots volunteer
their airplane and time as part of the Young Eagles program, a program designed
to stir interest in aviation in the younger generation.
1.4 million kids world-wide have been flown since the inception of the Young
Eagles program just over ten years ago. See this link!
