Young Eagles Open House

Frank Adelstein teching weather

Saturday, May 12th was a perfect day for flying, with 56 young people taking their first flight in a GA aircraft as part of the Young Eagles Program. Additionally, 40 people took scenic rides and many more enjoyed the fantastic barbecued chicken provided by the Trumansburg Rotary.

Thanks to Taughannock Aviation for use of their Gulfstream G4 for show, and to all the members who helped out. It was wonderful to see pilots sharing their knowledge and time with these new aviators.
