In connection with the Take Flight exhibit, EHFC will be hosting a Young Eagles Day on May 12, 2007, 9 AM - 3 PM, with a rain date of May 13.
Young Eagles is a program run by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to give interested young people, ages 8 - 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
Ten EAA members, both from EHFC and from surrounding areas, will be providing free Young Eagles flights throughout the day.
