We are honored to announce that NASA Astronaut Don Thomas will be our guest of honor and speaker at our annual banquet April 14th at the Wings of Eagles in Elmira. Thanks to Mike Thompson for arranging this connection.
Astronaut Thomas will also be presenting at our Take Flight! exhibit at the Sciencenter on this same weekend so young people can meet a real astronaut - and maybe he will even launch one of those rockets down there!
Banquet details
6:00 - Happy hour, cash bar.
7:00 - Catered dinner, $13 per person.
8:00 - Don Thomas presentation in the auditorium.
Additional attraction: We will also have a Diamond DA-42 TwinStar with glass panel avionics system powered up to view. Come check it out!
