New Avionics
At last! The Aspen Avionics EFD 1000 professional model
"mini-glass" panel will be installed in N97266. This amazing
interface adds new versatility to your flying and expands our flight training program to include glass panel avionics.

Come by the club for a great BBQ and see the new "magic" at East Hill! The new Aspen Avionics panel will be on display in N97266 and the Flight Design CT will be here on the ramp. The board meeting follows at 7:30 if you want to express your opinion on our future direction.

The picnic was a great time at the park with 30+ people in attendance. As usual, East Hill people can really cook well. The prize probably goes to Peter's mystery beans and Betsy Fallon's chocolate cake...what great food! Brent Chidsey brought fresh corn on the cob (and the cooker). Thank-you to Mike Thompson for coordinating this event and providing all the effort setting it up. Again, many hands made the clean-up quick. Thanks to all who attended!

FAA Seminar @ KFZYWe had a great flight to KFZY for the FAA Safety Seminar with Lon Sauter (July 9th). Three planes and 10 East Hill members made the trip. The bonus was they even had a barbeque dinner! We were fortunate to just skirt the last convective activity and fly VFR all the way. The return was again VFR below a deck of clouds. There will be two more in this series later this summer for those that want to fly along. |
