CHAPTER 1: THE KING
Once upon a time there was a great wizard and a king. One day the king discovered that his crown had been stolen! Where the crown once was, there was a note. It said "I have your crown. If you want it back, you must come to my castle alone with all your gold. If I see anyone else, I will destroy the crown.". This made the king very frightened, so he took his 2 best knights and the wizard. And so the quest began.
CHAPTER 2: THE QUEST
The wizard's name was Magiko (Maj-eek-o. Note that he is not an elderly wizard like you probably imagine a wizard.), the first knight (and the best) was named Goth (Gaw-th), and had a horse named Thunder. The other knight's name was Morg (More-g), and he was a foot soldier. The three set off into the woods around their home castle. Before long, they came to a pool of black ooze. When Morg threw a dead twig that was on the ground into the pool, it dissolved! "Acid!" said Goth. He was right! They had found a pool of acid! Then, out of the acid, rose an evil acid-man! The acid-man said "My master who stole your king's crown told me not to let anyone pass" in a rather disgusting voice. Then the acid-man flung a blob of acid right at Goth! Magiko had to act fast. As the blob of acid rapidly approached Goth & Thunder, he said "Alakazam*" and magically teleported them to safety. Then it was their turn to fight. Morg tried to cut up the monster with his sword, but instead he accidentally divided the monster into two smaller ones!
CHAPTER 3: DOUBLE MONSTER
"Oh no!" said Morg "what have I done?" "You've given us double trouble, that's what!" interrupted Goth. Magiko said "Calm down. We've got to work together to defeat these evil monsters!". Morg went up in front of the monsters and stuck his tongue out. Then Magiko whispered "Hocus pocus*" and it really protected Morg from some flung blobs of acid. then Goth charged towards the monsters from behind on Thunder, but when he hit, his lance dissolved! Magiko used another magic spell to restore Goth's lance. And then Morg got an idea.
CHAPTER 4 : MORG'S IDEA
Morg called Magiko and Goth to where he was and told them his idea. He wanted to try fire on the acid-men! Both Morg and Goth got a long , fat stick and Magiko used magic to ignite the sticks, turning them into torches! Then the two knights threw their torches and when they hit the monsters they dried out and crumbled. They had defeated the monsters. The pool of acid dried up and revealed a crystal ball! An image of somebody appeared in the crystal ball. "It's my enemy, Magilor (Muh-jil-or) the sorcerer!" Said Magiko. "Yes, Magiko, old enemy, you remember me. You destroyed my monsters, but I, Magilor live on. You cannot retrieve the crown yet--DUMMIES!" Said the image in the ball. Magiko, using magic, shattered it.
CHAPTER 5: NIGHTTIME ADVENTURE
On and on they went. Then Morg said "It's getting dark. We'd better find somewhere to sleep.". "You're right Morg" Said Goth "but where? I don't see any caves." "Who cares about caves? I HATE caves! What about bears? Lets--". Magiko interrupted them. He said "Shut up. I'll take care of this--Suki Puki Wuki Waki*", and a tent appeared! "Hooray! Now we can sleep" Shouted Morg and Goth at the same time. Then the chirping crickets drove Morg insane, and he attacked them! "Poof!" Magiko had cast a spell, and Morg fell asleep. "Oh no! He's dead!" Said Goth. "No, I just put him to sleep. he'll be fine in the morning" Said Magiko. Then Goth went outside, and killed the crickets. So the two went to sleep. In the morning Morg woke Goth and Magiko up and said "Come here. There's something I want to show you". Then they left the tent. Goth and Magiko were amazed! There were tracks that looked like bird tracks, but they were much too big. also, the tracks had five toes!
CHAPTER 6: THE BIRD MEN
All of a sudden whatever made those tracks came flying down from a tree, right towards them! "It...it...it looks like a cross between a person and a bird!" Said Goth. It picked them up, brought them back into the tree, and they saw a whole civilization of bird-men, living in trees! The creatures put them in a cage, and when Magiko said "Alakazam*" to teleport them out, he found that it was an enchanted cage, and his spell failed! And so they were trapped for a whole year. Meanwhile, the king thought they had died. "Poor Goth, Magiko, and Morg. I wonder what happened to them." Said the king, while the three lived in misery, living on food scraps and muddy water.
CHAPTER 7: ESCAPE!
It was night. Magiko asked Morg to look for bird men. There were none in sight. Magiko held the bars and, concentrating hard, said "Espcor*". The cage was weakened, and the enchantment was broken, so Goth could snap the bars of the cage. They snuk around, and Magiko had to turn them invisible to avoid being caught by guards. But, they found there were no ladders! Bird-men can fly in and out! So Magiko said "Floator*", and they floated to the ground. They ran through the woods, but the bird-men discovered they had escaped, and were bombing them with rocks! "Hocus pocus*" Said Magiko. The rocks bounced off Magiko's magical shield, and he also made them invisible. Morg threw some of his spears at them. About 11 of the bird-men were killed, but about 89 of them still pursued them! Then, Magiko's magic shield wore off. "Uh oh" Said Magiko "O mighty powers of magic, please help us*!". And a mighty, impenetrable fortress rose around them, with magical knights! The magic army, along with Goth and Morg, viciously attacked the bird-men. About five hours later, they had totally wiped out the bird-men's forces. Then they were very happy, and had a party in their fortress.
CHAPTER 8: THE DRAGON
Magiko dismissed the fortress, and on they went. Before long, they came to a cave. "P.U." Said Goth "This place smells like a giant piece of rotten meat!". With Magiko's magical help, to make light, they went in. It was very spooky. Morg even saw a weird skeleton, and he had no idea what it came from. In the rib cage, which looked like a real cage, he saw many human skeletons, which gave him the creeps. After what seemed like an hour (But, they no way of telling), the three came to a huge room. Up on a cliff there was a "Statue" of a dragon. They didn't know it, but the "Statue" was a real dragon! On they went, into the giant room. Then, all of a sudden, the dragon flew down from the cliff, breathing fire. Magiko used another spell, which makes a fireball. The dragon was enraged by this and ripped into Magiko, hurting him badly. This, in turn, made Morg absolutely furious, and he cut off the end of the dragon's tail with his sword. When Goth saw this, he realized how much he could hurt the dragon and charged on Thunder, and badly hurt the evil creature. Meanwhile, Magiko had luckily known a healing spell, and healed himself. Magiko returned to the fight, and used his fireballs until he was very tired. While he was thinking of a strategy, the two knights fought on. Goth managed to poke out the beast's eyes with his lance, and Morg cut its legs to pieces. Then Magiko, having rested, used more magic to squirt water in the dragon's mouth, disabling its fire breath. Before that, it had been wildly spewing flames everywhere, trying to score a hit even though Goth had poked its eyes out. Then, he used yet another spell to discover the dragon's secret weakness. The weakness was to throw a dagger into its mouth, and the instant it hit, cast a fireball spell at the dagger, and at the same time a magically shielded knight was to cut the beast's belly open. He told the others. "Here we go!" said Magiko. He shielded Morg, borrowed his dagger, and threw it into the dragon's mouth. Right when it went in, Morg seriously slashed you-know-what's belly, and Magiko used his fireball. When they did that, the you-know-what exploded!
CHAPTER 9: ASOLIUM
"Alakazam*" Said Magiko. They were teleported up onto the cliff where they first saw the dragon. "Oops!" Said Magiko "I meant to teleport us out, but this is better then getting blown up by that explosion down there.". "Look what I found, Magiko!" Said Morg. He was sitting next to a big sword, stuck in a crack. The others helped, and soon they had it out. They discovered that it was the ancient sword they had heard legends about, Asolium (Us-ol-ee-uhm)! It said (In writing, of course) "this sword is only to be used by a mighty soldier", which Magiko translated to "this sword is only to be used by a mighty soldier". "That's me!" Said Morg. He took Asolium, and Magiko teleported them out, successfully this time. But, when they got out, they found that the taking of Asolium had released many evil monsters! Morg fought them easily. He simply drew the sword and used all sorts of powers (he had learned these from legends). These powers included: Shooting flames out of the blade, creating a shield, and making a light so bright that he had to close his eyes while he was using the power. He decided to cut the beasts to teeny tiny pieces. So he did. When he had finished, there was another crystal ball. "You have Asolium, but you cannot beat me yet, FART-FACES!" Said the image of Magilor. Magiko shattered the ball, just like he did the last.
CHAPTER 10: NEW FRIENDS
They journeyed on and on for many days. One day they found a village. The occupants were not hostile, and nicely replenished their depleting supplies. There they met Bikka (Bih-kuh), the warrior. He fought with his bare hands and feet, and understood their situation. He offered to join their quest. The four also met Jakka (j-ake-uh), the female fighter. She basically fought with anything she could get her hands on, like, if a horse and lance were available, great! If not, she still had other things to fight with. She knew some limited magic as well. She also offered to join. The five left very happily. But, then they came upon a squad of ugly-looking humanoids. "The squasher squad!" Said Bikka "I know them and can handle them!". So Bikka plunged into the squad of things. He punched, kicked, jumped on, and wrestled them. "That was fun!" He said "We have to do it again sometime.". So on they went, towards Zeeth mountain, home of Magilor.
CHAPTER 11: ILLUSIONS & WATER
They were very close to Zeeth mountain, or so they thought. They could see Magilor's palace. Then the five got to the base of the mountain. But when they touched it to climb up, it disappeared. Illusion! Magiko started casting a spell to see where the real mountain was. He saw a palace on the top of a colossal cliff on a huge mountain on an island far out at sea. He told the others. They then decided to head for the ocean. It was a long and perilous journey. They encountered many animals. Magiko used magic to ask them if they were going in the right direction. The uncooperative evil beasts Morg slew with Asolium. At last they reached the sea. "Abracadabra*" Said Magiko. A ship with enchanted crew appeared out of nowhere. "Okay, Magiko. It's my turn." Said Jakka "Alakazam*". They were teleported to the ship. "Let's go!" Said Magiko. The crew obeyed. They decided he was captain because he cast the spell that created everything.
CHAPTER 12: THE SEABEASTS
So on the questors went. Before long they encountered an incredible herd of huge sub-aquatic serpents. The biggest (Who appeared to be the leader) said, in a serpentine voice, "Who are you? We will no allow you to passssssssss. No one passsssssssssssesssssss without knowing the sssssssssssssecret passssssssssword.". "I am Magiko. We are on an urgent quest to retrieve our king's crown" replied Magiko. "Have you seen a sorcerer named Magilor around here?" Asked Goth. "Yesssssss, we have." Answered the beast "I believe he had a crown inscribed with the symbol of the kingdom of Zidia". "Hmmmmm...... Zidia! That's where we live! It must have been our king's crown!" Continued Magiko. "Look! An island!" Said Goth, who had sighted land "I think we're near the end of our quest!". They started to sail towards the distant island.
CHAPTER 13: QUEST'S END
Hours passed. They sailed towards the island of Magilor. Meanwhile, the companions rested below deck. Waiting, waiting, waiting until they reached the island. Then finally, with a big "THUMP!", they got there, to the island. Their next task: Reach Zeeth mountain and climb to Magilor's palace. So they started to hike towards the mountain. Later, it was nighttime and they were camping, this time making sure there were no bird-men nearby. Jakka took Magiko outside the tent. She was casting a spell. Then she began to glow bright red. After that, she began to shoot little heart-shaped and red things out of her fingertips. These landed all over Magiko. What has happened? You will find out soon enough! Then the two went back into the tent and everyone went to sleep. In the morning, they began their hike once again. Later they reach Zeeth mountain. It was huge with big jagged cliffs dotting the mountainside. They could see Magilor's palace, thousands of feet high. Then they started to climb up. Up and up they went, rapidly approaching Magilor's palace, the home of an evil sorcerer. Higher and higher, rising above the clouds on the huge slope of Zeeth mountain. Then, at long last, they reached the cliff where Magilor's palace was. So the valiant questors climbed around the cliff, and soon they were at the gates of the palace.
CHAPTER 14: GATES TO DEATH
Then, the five heard a loud laughing sound. "Ha ha ha ha ha!" It was coming from within the stronghold "Congratulations for finding my palace, Magiko. Come on in. Don't worry. I'll make your death fast and easy.". It was Magilor. So they fearlessly ventured inside while Magiko told them all of Magilor's powers. On and on, into the palace of Magilor. Then, at last, they reached a huge room. On a throne at the far side of the room sat Magilor himself! "Ha ha ha!" He said "Prepare to meet your doom!". And then the battle began! Magiko used a fireball spell, but the cooked Magilor healed with magic! "Hocus pocus*" Said Magilor. A magical force shield was erected around the evil sorcerer! Goth charged on Thunder, but it was no use! Then, Morg became the hero of the battle. Magiko teleported Morg behind Magilor, while Goth, Jakka, and Bikka distracted the evil wizard. Morg found that Asolium could penetrate the shield, but Magilor healed with magic! Then they decided to get the crown and beat it. Morg grabbed the crown and Jakka teleported them all to the bottom of Zeeth mountain.
CHAPTER 15: THE JOURNEY HOME
Then the companions started to head home. To the ship and then across the ocean, through the jungle, climbing past the mountains, journeying though the forest, and then they got to the village where they had met Bikka and Jakka. What was the spell the Jakka had cast on the island where Magilor was? Magiko and Jakka had fallen in love. The spell was simply a sign of affection. Jakka decided to go with Morg, Goth, and Magiko to the kingdom of Zidia. Then they went past the cave of Asolium, through the forest where they had met the bird-men, past the pit that was left of the acid pool, and finally into their home castle. Magiko introduced the king to Jakka, and told him the story of their adventures, which you have just finished reading!
