More Trip Photos

This turned out to be sort of a hodge podge page, but I wanted to put these photos somewhere!

This is the guest house where we stayed in Nairn. The sign is for Brodie Coffee, and reads "Brodie: the Essence of Quality".

This was taken during our pilgrimage to Drumnadrochit, to find the tackiest Loch Ness Monster souvenir we could find. It was a tough choice, but in the end, a key chain won out over the squeaky Nessie. This is Nessie herself, outside the Official Loch Ness Souvenir Place, so we couldn't possibly resist a photo op. That's me on the left, and Gina (with her Hairy Coo) on the right.

This is during the con in Glasgow- in the train station, actually. The hotel was inside the station, so we could look through the window and see the train schedule and everything. This is Gina and me, looking busy.

Now for something completely different. This is taken in the airport in Keflavik Iceland. Lovely place. Well, the airport was nice, lots of beautiful summertime photos.

Another view out the windows at the Iceland Airport. Gina had a fit over the high prices at the gift shop here. They were high. But it's a racket, what can I say? "The top of the world". What, exactly, do they have to offer other than that? Brrr.

And this, not that you can tell, is Greenland. From the air. From my seat in the plane, actually, through the window. It was beautiful to look at. Flying over all the ice and snow, icebergs, frozen patterns in the ocean. I liked the look of these ice mountains, and the thought that very probably, I was looking at a place where no human had ever been.
