Groton Central School (GCS), Groton Education Fund (GEF) and Groton Alumni Association announced a new partnership to develop a memory garden. The garden will offer the school and community a beautiful area for people to show support, create memories, and add memorials.

The project is a circular brick area surrounded by ornamental trees, benches, and a sitting wall near the school track along the Route 38 corridor. Red clay pavers engraved in black are available to the public for $50. Proceeds from the sale of the bricks will benefit the Groton Alumni Association and will be used by the Groton Education Fund to award innovative grants to teachers.
