SUBJECT: EMERGENCY CLOSINGS

In the event it is necessary to close school for the day due to inclement weather or other emergency reasons, announcement thereof shall be made over local radio and television stations as designated by the Board of Education.

When school is closed, all related activities, including athletic events and student activities, will ordinarily be suspended for that day and evening, unless the Superintendent determines that conditions have significantly improved, and the risk is no longer evident.

The attendance of personnel shall be governed by their respective contracts.
