Charging
If a student
needs to charge a meal, we expect the charge to be paid within 5 days. The cashier will let the student know when
the account has a negative balance. A
letter may be sent to the parents of students with excessive negative balances. We will also encourage the family to apply for
free or reduced price meals if the child continues to charge meals.
Students with negative
balances will not be allowed to purchase any snacks until the charges are paid
in full, even if he or she has money to buy the snack.
