Menopause marks the transition to a new stage of feminine life.  If we choose, menopause can  be a time for physical strengthening, self-nurturing, and psychological deepening.  During this gathering, we will discuss natural and preventive approaches to the physical challenges of menopause, using nutrition, exercise, and herbs.  We’ll also explore our attitudes about menopause and aging.  The focus will be on issues common to all midlife women, as well as the specific challenges of individual participants.  Our goal is to improve both physical and emotional health in order to become vital and wise mature women.
