The music of Paul Goldstaub has been performed in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, at colleges and universities throughout the US, and in Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Italy. His opera The Marriage Proposal was produced off- off-Broadway ("genuine sense of musical wit", New York Times). He has been a national finalist in the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra's Composer Competition, and has been awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and Meet The Composer. A faculty member at the State University of New York at Binghamton, he has taught at the College- Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ithaca College, Mankato State University, Eastern Michigan University and the Chautauqua Institution. He is a frequent guest lecturer/performer on creativity and improvisation.
