Carolyn Russell moved to Ithaca in 1971 and she's been in the real estate business for 32 years. Very active in the community, she has spearheaded many programs, such as involvement in the Head Start program for young children, volunteering for Hospicare, Tompkins County's residential Hospice, as well as an active member of the Unitarian Church. Business related organizations which support women in business and women's issues are highly important to her.

Carolyn is a graduate of Oswego State Teachers College, and although she is a native "Upstater" she has lived in Ottawa, and Quebec, Canada. When she travels she enjoys visiting Brazil, Italy, Denmark, and England.
