There will be limited space at the K2BSA station for charging HT batteries. We will have chargers for the most common
HT's, probably, since that's what our staff is most likely to have, and the Support staff will be happy to charge your pack for you if they can.
You will probably need to leave the pack overnight, depending on the load on the chargers. Check in when you get to the Jamboree and see if we have a charger already for your type of battery. If not, you'll need to bring your charger, too. We'll charge your pack and either return both or hang onto the charger for you, if you want. Please be sure to mark all packs and chargers with your call letters, and be sure you know how long the pack needs to charge for (unless we have an automatic quick-charger for it).
When you get to K2BSA (the station, not the Radio Merit Badge booth), ask for someone from the Support group and they'll help you if they can.
The limited charging space is only offered for Amateur Radio handheld radios. Sorry, we will not be able to offer charging space for cell phones, digital cameras, camcorders, laptop computers, PDA's, Game Boys, iPods, CD/DVD players, pacemakers, hearing aids or any other electronic equipment.
