CAYUGA DAYLILIES

 

Located in central New York in the Heart of the Finger Lakes, Cayuga Daylilies features recent introductions of hemerocallis. The botanical name is derived from two Greek words meaning "beauty" and "day". Individual blooms are generally open for only a day, but there are successive flowers for a number of days during the blooming season. Daylilies are trouble-free perennials, adding color and interest to the mid-summer garden. This garden features moderate priced ($5-20), cold-hardy cultivars. Over 250 named cultivars are on display, many in a garden setting.The garden is state inspected and free of rust. The garden is open by appointment only.
