Catalogs: I do not have a paper catalog; it is impractical for a business which produces only bespoke pieces. I hope you will enjoy looking at the pictures of my previous work in this site to get an idea of what I routinely produce.
Waiting times: Harnesses take months to produce (in some cases a year or more). This is the time from actually beginning the work; please note that my backlog varies in length, but I am frequently "booked" at least a year in advance. I am sometimes able to fit smaller orders and single pieces in sooner (although seldom on extremely short notice) - I usually have a harness under construction, and I fiddle with single items to take a break from it. I will be very glad to discuss any armor you are considering and give you a rough estimate of the cost. I will not be able to quote a firm price, take any downpayment, or commit to a schedule until I can confirm that I will begin the work within a few months. I apologize for the inconvenience: while it makes waiting to confirm your order somewhat tedious, you will be pleased to be assured that I am working on your project when you have begun paying for it.
Fittings: I work from measurements, photographs, tracings, and body casts of my customers, depending on the specific pieces ordered. I will determine what information is required for any order. I would prefer to arrange a fitting before beginning the finishing work for harnesses or other complexes of pieces which interact with one another or with armor you already wear.
Prices: A general idea of my prices may be obtained from the page of items in stock. Harnesses begin around US$18,000; a harness with many exchange pieces or with extensive decoration might run to $25,000 or 35,000.
Payment: My usual terms are 50% down and the remainder (together with shipping costs) upon completion, prior to delivery. In the case of rather large projects, such as complete harnesses, I routinely take installments upon payment as the work progresses.
