Hold It Still References HCOB Training Bulletin 6 February 1957 "Procedure CCH" Description Hold It Still will improve the person's ability to control his environment. Commands The processor asks the person to select a number of objects in the room which appear really real to him. The processor then selects two of these objects. These objects should be of a size that is easy to handle with the hands, and of a significance as nonrestimulative as possible to the person. The processor then selects two of these objects and places them either on a table in front of the person within easy reach and with some distance between them, or else on the arm of the person's chair, one object on each arm. The commands of the process are: "Pick up the (indicated object)." "Good." "Hold it still." "Good." When the person has kept it from going away for at least an instant and with good certainty, the processor then says, "Put it back exactly where you found it." "Good." The processor then says, indicating the other object: "Pick up the (indicated object)." "Good." "Hold it still." "Good." When the person has kept it from going away for at least an instant and with good certainty, the processor then says, "Put it back exactly where you found it." "Good." The process is then repeated. End Point Run the process until a realization occurs, or an ability is regained. Cautions None.
